AY TARIM and SEZ-AY Soğukhava Deposu owner Huseyin Aydaşlı said that Egirdir’s apple is now exported to countries such as Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Jordan, and apple exports have also positively affected domestic market sales.
S. S. Hüseyin AYDASLI, who was interviewed during the opening ceremony of the apple boating and packaging plant of the Upper Gökdere Village Agricultural Development Cooperative, stated that apple exports increased in a very important dimension compared to the last years and apple exports were realized from Mersin Port, Taşucu Port and Hatay Cilvegözü border gates.
Aydaklı stated that the sales were realized on Coldair facilities in Egirdir and Gelendost this year and most of the stores had less apples than half of them. He stated that the price of disposable handkerchief was 50 penny, 1 st and 2 nd class quality handler were around 1 TL.
